Is Age of Enlightenment product of Confucius influence undermining Christian value?

 

Confucius and the Age of Enlightenment

While many westerns think Asia have no influence on the west. According to a paper published in Columbia University by Dr. Derk Bodde argue, Confucius and Chinese influence, is solely responsible for the initiation of the Age of Enlightenment, which bring about modern western values, modern western political and economic system and modern western civil service exam system and without it, the west would still be in the dark and middle ages and provided many evidence that support the argument.

After the fall of Roman Empire, China gradually become a myth in Europe, till Europeans ships arrived to China in the 17 century. However, prior to the fall of Rome, trade between China, Rome, Persia, Egypt and India was very frequent, using the silk road and people migrate back and forward between these places frequently, some even became social elites. For example, the second Emperor of China's Tang dynasty, his mother is a white western woman. After Europe fall to dark ages, such exchange between Egypt, India, Persia and China, continue and was just as frequent. Even after the Ottoman Empire decide they won't let foreign state conduct direct trade through their nation, thus, people can't trade via the silk road, anymore, the Chinese, Indian and Arab traders, just simply create a new trade route that connect them via water and keep on trading and while at it also create a new route to trade with East Africa, after helping them to establish city states, along their ports and adding South Asia nations into the trade route. The Catholic Church also sent many Catholic priests to serve as missionaries, to convert Chinese to be Catholics. However, after arriving in China, many priests was shocked by the technological level of China, which was centuries ahead of Europe and after spending over 1000 years in dark ages, the 1st world economy of China, amazed the priests. Many of these priests later converted to Confucianism and try promote Eastern values to the west. Because priests been send to China are usually highly educated, they also earn the respect of the Chinese and some was even been given position in the than Chinese government. Many of these priests first tried introducing Chinese ideology to the west, by writing books to be published in the west. Some of these books include, "Confucius, the Philosopher of the Chinese (1687)", "the Description of China (1735)" in four volumes, "the long series of Edifying and Curious Letters" in 34 volumes, "the General History of China in 13 volumes (1777-85)" and "the lengthy Memoirs on the History, Sciences, Arts, etc., of the Chinese", in 16 volumes (1776-1814). These writing gave the west for the first time an accurate view of China.

The coming of Confucius ideology, come in an era of Renaissance where people of the west become more fascinated with their pre Christian era roots, in the Roman and Greek era and started to question established system, of the then modern west, dominated by feudal society, "King is god's given right" and the great power and influence of the church. The coming of Confucius ideology gave many then Europeans educated who ask these questions answer. Many of these educated become the first western Confucius followers, including German philosopher Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz (1646-1716), Christian Wolff (1679-1754), US founding fathers including Benjamin Franklin and Thomas Jefferson. These western Confucius followers become the people who initiated the push for the Age of Enlightenment. Their ideas are frequently based on Confucius' teaching and other existing Eastern values. According to Bodde, the father of the Age of Enlightenment is Frenchman, Voltaire (1694- 1778), who is also a follower of Confucius. In 1697 Voltarie wrote in his book "Novissima Sinica" "I almost think it necessary that Chinese missionaries should be sent to us to teach the aims and practice of natural theology, as we send missionaries to them to instruct them in revealed religion."

The push to initiate the Age of Enlightenment was in fact a dangerous process, during its time. Confucius ideology frequently contradicts the teaching of the bible. For example Confucius ideology teach the principle of politeness, is determine base on, whether you cause disturbance to peace and harmony. Thus, even if a person act in a manner that is a sin or not moral, if he/she didn't disturb peace and harmony, he did nothing contradict politeness. Thus base on this principle, Confucius preach tolerance to those who are not moral and those who are sinners. This have great similarity to modern western liberal value of a person should have the freedom to do anything he wants, if he doesn't affect another's freedom and to show tolerance to the behavior of others, if they don't violate such principle. However, such ideas greatly contradict the teaching of the bible, for example the bible said

As a result, the ideas these 17th century western Confucius followers, are pushing for, within the Age of Enlightenment, their idea was frequently been seen as dangerous and evolutionary, by the established authorities and it is true, some was even been persecuted for their beliefs. For example, Christian Wolff suffered persecution because in a lecture he gave in University of Halle in 1721, he praised Chinese system for successfully harmonizing individual happiness with state's welfare and praise Confucius way of life and it have no real conflict with Christianity. Another reason why so many 17th century western educated are seduced to become a Confucius follower, is because, despite been totally independent of Christ, China demonstrate significant greater peace, harmony, liberation, advancement in knowledge and technology and prosperity, then the west. A first world economy, is unknown to dark and middle ages Europeans, even today, there are many westerners finding it hard to image a first world economy, in pre-industrial revolution era. Also, despite also been ruled by an absolute King, the Emperor of China doesn't practice the concept of "Divine right of the King" instead, he exercise his power with great restraint, by focusing on ruling for the people, much like a modern President.

This is despite the fact, till date many modern western church still preach the belief that life can only be of maximum benefit, by following of the Christian doctrine, without it, a society would fall. For example, the bible wrote

Who is the liar but he who denies that Jesus is the Christ? This is the antichrist, he who denies the Father and the Son. (John 2:22 )

And

For many deceivers have gone out into the world, those who do not confess the coming of Jesus Christ in the flesh. Such a one is the deceiver and the antichrist. (John 1:7)

And

Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, for
many false prophets have gone out into the world. By this you know the Spirit of God: every
spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God, and every spirit that
does not confess Jesus is not from God. This is the spirit of the antichrist, which you heard was
coming and now is in the world already. (John 4:1~3)

Yet in China, these educated see evidence that not only contradict such Christian teaching, but reverse it completely.

The influence of Confucius ideology is also responsible for the revival of democracy and separating the church from school in the west and it also have an influence on modern western economic theories, through a group of French politicians and economics known as Physiocrats. The Physiocrats are also followers of Confucius their leader is Francis Quesnay, of the French royal court.

Confucius does accept the governing of an absolute authority King, but argue the King should not use his power abusively.As a result, many early western French Confucius followers did accept the absolute rule of the King Louis XIV who is a good King, but when the corrupt King Louis XV came into power, it lead the Physiocrats, to think about establishing a new system that can ensure the government to rule in the benefit of all people, this leads to the revival of democracy, from the ancient Greeks and Romans.

Another thing that the Physiocrats also pushed for is to separate education and the church and make it universal arguing this is the only way to bring forward the true talent of a nation, to be trained for benefiting the nation.

Economically Physiocrats introduce the idea of "nature order". It believes all of a nation's wealth comes from the land, through agriculture, mining and lumbering. Manufacturing and trade are secondary. Therefore the state should encourage industry such as agriculture, mining and lumbering and not care about manufacturing and trade.

Physiocrats' idea is completely the same as those system been established in East Asia and those been spoken by Confucius, except for in one aspect of economic, China do have concern in manufacturing and trade and is sometime a highly regulated industry. In Taiwan for example, this remain the case, till date, where the oil price is regulated by the government, to prevent oil company from rising the price too high and there are rules, in regards to selling industrial goods to overseas, some of the nation's most high tech technology cannot be sold overseas, while some others, can only be sold to certain nations. There was a time where price of renting farmland was also regulated by the government, to prevent landlord for raising the rent so high, that farmer would struggle to pay their rent. The civil service examination system, was first been established in China in 581AD~605AD, by Emperor Wen of the Sui dynasty, inspire by Confucius idea of promoting the best person to the right post and to established the best human resource system possible to achieve that goal. It become the standard way to appoint government officials between 690AC~705AC, by Empress Wu Zetian, the only female Emperor in China's history.

The civil service examination system was been established in France in 1791, but soon seized, but was later re-established in 1840. In the US the civil service examination system was established in 1883, because during the first one hundred year of US' history, the civil service was extremely corrupt. The British civil service examination system is established in 1855. However, by the time, civil service examination system was been established in the US and UK, it was already in the 19th century, it was an era, where, firstly, the west, is no longer in need of Asia influence to modernized from the horror of dark and middle ages and secondly, due to the Manchurian Empire who rule Taiwan, Manchuria, China, Mongolia, Tibet and Xian Jiang, since the 18th century's ill policy to secure their power, which is to centralized all power to the executive branch of the government, operated by the Emperor, the entire Empire include China, saw complete collapsed, by the 19th century, due to increase corruption with the executive government, by late 18th century, due to the Emperor relying on his chief of staff, who turns out to be corrupt, to operate the executive government, by the time the Manchurian Empire thought of, solving the corruption problem, by giving local government and other branch of the federal government more power, it is too late. However, some modern Christian also follow some Christian value that contradict Confucius. For example, prior to 1980s, Ireland's Catholic Church is allowed to throw women into its private prison, name Catholic Church Home for Unwed Mothers, for life, for been unwed mothers and confiscate their baby, because of bible teachings, that is frowned upon by Confucius.

The origin of the Age of Enlightenment, is a very important part of western history. There could many reason in regards to why, the mainstream forgotten it. However, this article would theorist it was been forced to be forgotten by conservative western value. Psychologist points out sometime, when a person believe in something badly enough, they look for example and construct opinion in favor of their belief and ignore all else, to sustain their belief and traditional western value believe white people are supposed to be superior. When China collapsed in the 19th century and the west is no longer in need of Asia's influence to get out of the horror of the dark ages, it give the conservatives a good chance to push this memory out of mainstream western history, to sustain their believe of white superiority and considering these ideas that came due to none western influence, are now a part of western value, the west can function without knowing where this value come from. In addition the misconception of these is all invented by the west, without outside influence, is great boost for the belief of white men are superior. Thus, the article argues that this part of western history, is intentionally been pushed out of mainstream western history, by conservatives.

Sadly, important people like Voltarie, Leibniz, Christian Wolff and Francis Quesnay have also been forgotten by mainstream western history. But without these people, the Age of Enlightenment, would never have taken place, thus the revival of democracy, industrial revolution and modern western value would never have emerged and the west would still be living in the dark and middle ages and people would still be executed for saying the earth is over 6000 years old, yet instead of honoring these people by setting their birthday as a public holiday, building status and memorials to remember them or putting their face on money, few in the modern western world, even know of these important men's existence.

Why real Bible Following Christians are more likely to be in hell right now?

Real bible following Christians love to say other people are going to burn in hell, for various none evil reasons such as, not worship Yahweh as the one and only true god.

However, scientific evidence suggest, it is more likely for the Pagan view to be correct and base on the believe of Paganism, it is some of those bible following Christians that are truly going to be burning in hell, as certain biblical believe would lead a person to go to hell, according to Pagan believes. (Along with other Yahweh faith fanatics, whether it is Islam or Judaism, although most Yahweh faith fanatics today are Christians or Muslims, Jews are very rarely fanatics.)

The idea of the Yahweh faiths to such extend is pretty simply. You do good thing, you go to heaven, you do bad thing, you go to hell, only problem is, the bible got a very distorted idea of good and evil (and in Islam you get a few virgin hottie to be your sex toys.)

The concept of doing good means going to heaven, doing bad means going to hell origin from Pagan, first recorded in ancient Egyptian. Where it is believe, after you die, you will be judge by the 42 judges of the God Osiris, in accordance to the law of Maat, the goddess law giver. Your heart would be weight upon a scale with a feather, when your heart is heavier then the scale it mean you are evil and would go to hell, if the feather is lighter it believe you will go to heaven.

This is a common believe in most ancient Paganism, however, as time went by, Pagans started changing their view and the concept of reincarnation emerged, coming with the concept of Karma.

To make sure, I accurately explain the concept of Karma. I am going to paraphrase the BBC, on this

karma has implications beyond this life. Bad actions in a previous life can follow a person into their next life and cause bad effects (which Westerners are more likely to interpret as 'bad luck').

On a larger scale, karma determines where a person will be reborn and their status in their next life. Good karma can result in being born in one of the heavenly realms. Bad karma can cause rebirth as an animal, or torment in a hell realm.

Skilful actions that lead to good karmic outcomes are based upon motives of generosity; compassion, kindness and sympathy, and clear mindfulness or wisdom. The opposite motives of greed, aversion (hatred) and delusion, when acted upon, lead to bad karmic results.

According to a paper written by Falun gong have the following to say about Karma Since ancient times, there have been many discussions about "karma retribution."Excerpts are as follows: "Yi Jing (Chinese Daoism)" said: "The house of the good will have good fortune; the home of evil will have a lingering sorrow." He said: "But good is not enough to make a name, the evil is not enough to destroy the body." Confucianism said: "Be good, and gain hundred peace; Be evil, and gain hundred of chaos." Taoist said that the blessing of man comes from the good and evil of the ancestors, and the children and grandchildren must bear the good and evil retribution of the ancestors.   The Buddhists openly put forward the "causality theory" and put forward "causality through the three worlds". They believe that the blessings of human beings are all from the good and evil of the past, and the good and evil of this life affect the blessings of the afterlife. Too slammed: "There is no way for a blessing, but a self-invitation; a report of good and evil, as the shadow follows." The Buddhist scriptures believe that there is no cause and no cause in the world, and there is no cause of no cause. (Falun Gong, 2001)

Chinese philosopher Confucius has a similar view to this, where he believe for an action to qualify as good, it must be enhancing peace and harmony  (e.g. helping the poor.), no other action can qualify as good and for an action to qualify as evil, it must cause disturbance to peace and harmony. Confucius even went further to say, to enforce a set of moral value (e.g. killing people for acting in an immoral manner) is neither a justifiable reason nor excuse to cause disturbance to peace and harmony, because, just because an action is not moral it doesn't necessary cause disturbance to peace and harmony, thus, those people got the right, not to be moral if it is to their pleasure and the most we could do is to try persuade them to be moral, but forcing any set of moral value upon others against their will or punishing people simply for been immoral, is unacceptable and can constitute as an act of evil.

Buddhist also speak highly of the concept of good Karma put soul in higher realm and bad Karma put souls in lower realm, which could last to the following reincarnations.

Buddhist believe there are six realm, from the highest to lowest it include

Heaven Realm (Gods)

Asura Realm (Demi Gods)

Human Realm

Animal Realm

Ghost Realm

Hell Realm

Also important to note, our modern concept of Demons, emerged after Buddhism. Prior to that, there was the believe that although most gods are goods, there is a small majority of evil Gods e.g. Seth and Apep in ancient Egypt, Greek God Hades and Norse God Loki and Hela. Evil Gods are later thought to be of demons, in later mythologies world wide, which is also why, Christianity, believe demons are former Angels, derive from the early Judaism view of all gods that stand against Yahweh to be evil, which lead to the later Judaism view of Yahweh to be the one and only true god.

While the Christian view of Yahweh created men and after you die, you act in accordance to what the bible believe to be good, you go to heaven and if you act in accordance to what the bible believe to be evil, you go to hell. No real scientific evidence can support this believe.

However, the Pagan believe of reincarnation, have some strong evidence to support it, although not enough to prove for it to be real.

Modern biology found, the human brain and nerve system run on electricity, just like any house hold appliance and when the nerve send message between the brain and the body, it send electric pauses. Modern scientists have successfully, use this concept, to let soldiers injured fighting in Iraq or Afghanistan to control robotic arms or legs to replace the limb they lost, by, having wiring, that mimic the human nerve system and have the wire connect to the nerves, directly, allowing people to control the robotic limbs with their brain, the same way they would control their own limbs. US AirForce even use this to their advantage, where some of the latest US fighters, the pilot control the plane, via mind control, placing their hand upon a crystal ball and control the fighter with their brain.

However, what scientists also found is that the energy use by our nerve and brain system would remain the same for our whole life time. However, according to the law of physic energy cannot be created or destroyed, it can only transform from one form to another and the amount of energy in the universe is constant. Thus, the energy we use in our nerve and brain system, come from external source it would stay with us for our entire life, until we die, in which the energy would exit our body. Even more, scientists also found, cells, use energy to communicate with each other and such communication is vital to keep our body function and keep us alive.

Such aspect of modern scientific discover, work in coalition with the concept of reincarnation, where the soul is external and only move from one host body to the next, hence reincarnation. More modern religion philosophy and even some scientists, believe this is in some way, has to do with the concept of reincarnation. The fact that energy would move from one host body to the next when a person is born and when a person die.

Hence, despite there are no scientific evidence to prove either the Christian idea or the Pagan idea, there are strong scientific evidence to support the Pagan theory, in regards to reincarnation.

However, if the Pagan theory in regards to reincarnation is correct, then what if the Pagan theory of Karma is also correct. If that is the case. then despite many Christian fanatics (and Muslim fanatics) believe they are going to heaven, they are the one that is going to go to hell, while those who these fanatics consider to be going to hell, are the one that are more likely to go to heaven.

In fact, to some extend, we have already seen this Buddhist influence in effect, as following certain problematic Christian value has created hell on earth.

John 4:1~3 "Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from god, for many false prophets have gone out into the world. By this you know the Spirit of God: every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God and every spirit that does not confess Jesus in not from God. John 1:7 For many deceivers have gone out into the world, those who do not confess the coming of Jesus Christ in the flesh. Such a one is the deceiver and the Antichrist.

John 2:18 Children, it is the last hour and as you have heard that Anti Christ is coming, so now many Antichrist have come. Therefore we know that it is the last hour

John 2:22 Who is the liar but he who denies that Jesus is the Christ? This is the Antichrist, he who denies the Father and the Son

John 4:3 And every spirit that does not confess Jesus is not from God. This is the spirit of the Antichrist, which you heard was coming and now is in the world already.

Thus, what qualify as the Antichrist according to the bible? Other religion such as Hindu and Buddhism, institution such as public high school and public university, your high school biology teacher, democratic elected government, all of these things that is none Christian, the bible accuse it of been Antichrist, in fact, even other religion that worship Yahweh, according to the bible qualify as the Antichrist, for example, Judaism, which does not believe in Jesus. 

The influence of this Christian value, leads to great destruction of knowledge throughout the western world, ever since the church seize control of the western world in the 5th century, which lead to the first step of the Dark Ages, as all these knowledge was been lost via force and for the next 1000 years of the rule of the church insisting on such Christian value, help created hell on earth, which is the western world, for such a long time. 

On a lighter topic let's take a look at Christian value on women.

Wives, submit to your own husbands, as to the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife even as Christ is the head of the church, his body, and is himself its Savior. Now as the church submits to Christ, so also wives should submit in everything to their husbands.

For a married woman is bound by law to her husband while he lives

By doing so, the bible intentionally or unintentionally, infer the idea that 

husband = master

wife = slave

And there are many Christian that believe in it. The result?

Let's put it this way. We all know a lot of white guys have a thing for Asian women. And survey in Asia also find, most Asian women, see western men to be a romance symbol. This lead to the very high dating rate between white men and Asian women, it is estimated White men/Asian women dating is at least 10:1 higher then the vise verse. To such extend, it is also fair to assume White men/Asian women marriage is at least 10:1 higher then the vise verse.

However, according to a report of the Pew Research Centre of Social and Demographic Trend, it suggest, in the US the rate of White men/Asian women marriage is probably less than 2:1 higher then the vise verse, with only 36% of Asian women that gotten married, marry men of other race, yet, 21% of Asian men that got married, marry women of other race. Despite in all fairness, the study didn't exactly show, what race of men and women, these Asian people got marry to, however, base on what we seen in society, we know, in cross race relationship most Asians, get involve with Whites, follow by Latino people, very rarely do they get involve with Blacks.

In Asia, western women that migrate to Asia trash talk western men so much, it is now giving them an increasingly horrible reputation. A survey of 100 Taiwan women find, despite all of them are interest in dating a white man, only 1% want to marry man white men, as the majority of these Asian women think western men make good boy friend by been a romance symbol, but worse husband.  Why? The western men that follow these Christian value, is increasingly give western men a bad reputation hence in the west women are always saying "where have all the good men gone" and after coming to the west, the Asian women that want to date white guys, due to seen them as romance symbol, after dating a few, they start feeling western men are jerks and went back to Asians again. And despite the western stereotype insist the west treat women well and none west treat women like crap, an idea that is construct by racist people, those white women who migrate to Asia, find it is bullshit, at least in relation to Asia and now those same women who say "where have all the good men gone" in the west, after moving to Asia start saying "Asian guys are nice, western men are jerks" and start trash talking western men, even on national television, giving them a bad reputation. If those White men that search for Asian women are just looking for something casual it isn't much of a problem, but consider most Western men that look for Asian women are looking for a wife that is bad Karma of those Christian western men, screwing over all white men right there. (Even in Asia, a lot of white men say, they can easily find girls that want to hook up with them in casual, none exclusive open relationship or just to be friends with benefits

, but, if they want to find a wife, it is very hard for a white guy, to find somebody wanting to get into a seriously relationship with him.)

Christian heaven = real hell, Christian hell = real heaven

The bible say, only by following the teaching of the bible can your life be of max benefit yet...

During the era of western history that follow the teaching of the bible we got

1. 1000 years of dark ages

2. meaningless inquisition

3. meaningless religion wars

4. death of 90% of Europe's population (never in all of history has living according to any doctrine, lead to such horror result. Even under communist rule, China only got 10% people dying)

5. Black plague lasted for 100 years (In all of human history, never ever have a plague last for so long)

6. The average European only live to 35 (even turtles that can live for hundred of years, if die of old age, usually live well over 100 years old. The ancient Chinese, average life expectancy is well into their 70s.)

By the successfully pushed for, separation of State and Church, follow by separation of State and education, we got the Age of Enlightnement

Asia does not follow the teaching of the gospel and remain the most powerful region for most of the past 2000 years and has been just as prosper as a modern 1st world country, with life expectancy rival to today and due to good health, ancient Chinese are as big as tall as people today, in fact people of Song dynasty China, got the average height of 190cm, 15 cm taller then people today. Despite they suck for a while, during the 19th century, they quickly bounced back, after the 1950s and never become as suck as Europe during the era under the bible's rule.

Prior to the era of following the teaching of the bible, the western world got the mighty Roman Empire and the enlighten Greek civilization and the Romans and the Greeks does not follow the teaching of the bible either.

So...put it this way. If the world that follow the teaching of the bible is such a horrible place and the place that does not follow the teaching of the bible is such a great place, despite the bible claim only by following the teaching of the bible, can life be of maximum benefit. Then, Christian heaven must be a really horrible place and Christian hell must be a wonderful place. Thus, Christian heaven must be the real hell and Christian hell must be the real heaven.

The Truth about witchcraft and why you should support it over Christ

Christianity hate witches and during the era of Christian rule, accusing people of been witches and then burning those people alive, was a common practice. Something that continue to exist for almost 100 years, after overthrowing the rule of the church.

Within the next 400 years, we see things continue to improve, as people started seen witchcraft differently, where more movies started showing witches despite having magical power, to be kind and beautiful, with TV shows such as Bewitch, Sabrina the teenage witch and Charmed

This article would argue this change is a positive change and while having to side with witches or the teaching of the bible, you should side with witches.

First, lets us understand what is witches. The concept of witches exist in every single ancient culture in the world and are those who actually practice witchcraft. But the interesting fact about the ancient world, is usually religion and science are mixed into one. Ancient science mostly fall under a category of what this article would refer to as "observation science", it is about understanding how the way of nature work. What is most obvious, is in the Chinese religion Daoism, which in the ancient world, study the law of nature, through observation and recording. The same applies to ancient Europe, dated back to the same era, Daoism first emerged (over 2000 years ago), Ancient Romans, Greeks, Persians and Egyptians, observe the way of nature and recorded it and sometime develop various theories in regards to what might happen, as a result if doing things a certain way. However, ancient people usually do not understand the scientific reason behind, why things work this way and think it is of magical nature. For example, they understand the rain fall to the ground and the ancient Romans and Greeks know the importance to fertilized the land and the need of water for crops to grow, but they don't understand why, so, they think it is of magical nature. Ancient Chinese discover gun powder over at least 1000 years ago, but, they don't understand why, So, they assume it is of magical nature, but, after noticing the explosion power, ancient Chinese witches, started experimenting with power of the gun powder, under various proportion. Ancient Chinese, discover magnet, but they don't understand how and why it work, think it is of magical nature, but they used it, to their advantage, to invent the compass. 

Observation science still exist and is been used today. For example, till date, we don't understand why there are gravity, we only know gravity exist and what is the most obvious of all, is the bermuda triangle, weird things happen there, all the time, but we don't understand why it is happening, we only know it happens. Till date we still don't understand how some birds are about to migrate over long distance from one side of the planet to another and not get lost, we only know they are capable of doing it. 

In the ancient world, observation science, is even more of a real thing, then today and in addition, due to their lack of understanding, what is actually science, the ancient think of it as magic, it is much like, when the European first invade America and Africa, the natives, thought the rifles, are magic stick that kills, when Mongols invaded Europe, the European not able to understand why the Asians are able to mobility of Asian army, thought it was magic, where in reality, it was due to having better scientific knowledge, allow Asia to have better logistic mobility. Thus, in the ancient days, religion and science are frequently think of as one and the same, thus, science, is not think of as the study of science, but the study of magic and those who study science, instead of been thought of as scientists, are thought of as witches and the study of witchcraft. 

In the ancient world, witches was highly regarded, by the people, including in pre Christians era Europe. This is especially considering, some witches' area of expert is in the science of medicine, in other word, they are doctors. If we really take a in depth understanding of the action of witches, in accordance to our mythology, we realized, many resemble the action of modern scientists. 

For example, witches mix potion in pots and cooking potions in a pot, image a group of chemists, conducting experiments using beakers and sometime cooking it under a bunsen burner. Well, people 2000 years ago got no beaker or bunsen burner, so, what did ancient scientists use? They use the same type of pots and fire they use, to cook their meal. Does that not resemble the image, of witch mixing or cooking a potion?

Certain aspect of Asia's Feng Shui has been successfully proven by modern science, other aspect despite having no scientific evidence, has once and again proven to be real, for example, Feng Shui says, you should have no large mirrors in your room, especially those that cover an entire wall, otherwise you will keep getting sick. Modern science has no prove of such, but, this article has seen many cases of people that have such large mirror in their room, keep getting sick (especially in married couple, the one that sleep on the side of the mirror, get sick very often, while the other one, tend to be fine) after telling them about this situation, some of them give it a shot, putting a curtain over that mirror in his room or go sleep in another room, their rate of getting sick, start dropping quickly, afterwards.

In other word, the bible accuse everything that is not from its religion to be false, evil and lie AKA the Anti-Christ. In fact the bible have passages that goes out of the way to discourage education, democracy and authority that is independent from Christianity

As a result, it is only nature for Christianity to have such great level of hate towards witches. And if that does not make Christianity, hate witches, the fact that science and magic was consider to be one and the same and the Christian believe of its god to be the one and only true god and all other god are evil demonic false god pretending to be god AKA Satan, would make them hate witches for certain. In fact, such hate towards witches is well documented within the bible e.g.

Exodus 22:18 “You shall not permit a sorceress to live."

Leviticus 20:27 "A man or a woman who is a medium or a necromancer shall surely be put to death. They shall be stoned with stones; their blood shall be upon them.”

Leviticus 20:6 "If a person turns to mediums and necromancers, whoring after them, I will set my face against that person and will cut him off from among his people.

The mass killing of witches, after the Catholic Church took power in Europe during the 5th century, is now consider to be the first step to the dark ages, with the mass killing of witches throughout the Roman Empire, which is really, the mass genocide of educated, especially those who are educated in the arena of science and medicine.

What some Christian fanatics might want to use, to keep defaming witches, is its association with "Lucifer". However, Lucifer is in fact, only defamed to be evil, due to the lie taught by the bible saying "Yahweh to be one and only true god and all other gods are evil demonic false gods pretending to be god" Lucifer, is in fact an ancient Roman God. Lucifer is the God of the sun, also known as the bringer of light, he is married to the goddess Diana, the god of the moon, their daughter, is consider as the god of witches and healers, in other word, the god of scientists and doctors.
